Steve Banks has been an award winning photographer, photojournalist and photographic designer for over 30 years. His work has been seen in leading news magazines and newspapers including: Time, News Week, People, Vanity Fair, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and Wall Street Journal. Steve’s work is included in permanent collections at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum, The Jimi Hendrix
Museum, The Country Hall of Fame and Museum, The Grand Ole Opry Museum, and the Richard Avedon Institute.
Television credits include: British Broadcasting Television, Canadian Broadcasting Company, MTV, E! Entertainment: True Hollywood Story, A&E’s Biography series. A noted concert and club photographer, his book Janis’ Garden Party published in 1994 was a critical success rated the ultimate in black and white documentary photography. Steve is the winner of numerous awards including the Leica Medal of Excellence and five LUCI Awards.
