Dennis is an accomplished graphic designer specializing in music related marketing materials & publication design. He has created album covers, posters, and print ads. Born in Detroit, he attended The Center for Creative Studies, served in the armed forces, and after being stationed at the Presidio in San Francisco in 1967, stayed there to play music and absorb the vibrant art the music scene. In 1871 he returned to Detroit, and worked with fellow Detroit artists Stanley Mouse and Gary Grimshaw. After becoming art director for Goldmine Magazine, Dennis began to acquire freelance album cover and poster design work for a variety of Detroit indie record labels and concert venues. He relocated to Los Angeles where he designed posters for The House of Blues, The Roxy, The Whisky A Go-Go, and the Hollywood Bowl. Dennis now lives in San Francisco where he continues to produce all manner of music related merchandise, while maintaining his Detroit roots, as shown by his work for The White Stripes, The Dirtbombs, The Detroit Cobras and others. He is also working on a fresh Rock Poster Art Compilation Book for a major European publisher.
