Brian Fox is a Massachusetts based artist specializing in celebrity portraitures. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1990 with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. Brian worked for the award winning New England based company Liquid Blue for seven years producing high end t-shirt designs and illustrations.
Best known for his sports paintings and portraits (he was the official portrait artist for Major League Baseball’s Allstar game in 2007 and 2008), he has also done work for Disney studios. It was his painting of Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow pirate that inspired him to create his dark portrayal of Keith Richards (Johnny Depp’s inspiration for the Sparrow persona).
His studio is located in Somerset where he has been painting and freelancing for the past 17 years.
