Guy Webster
Guy Webster is known as one of the early innovators of rock and roll photography. His work has spanned the worlds of music, film and politics during his fifty year career.
In the 1960s, Webster shot almost every band that came through Los Angeles, eventually branching out to photograph actors, composers, writers, athletes, directors and even Presidents Reagan and Clinton.
Webster shot album covers and billboards for numerous groups, including The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, and The Doors. He worked as the primary celebrity photographer for hundreds of magazines worldwide and captured a vast range of talent.
A collection of his historic works was published as the book Big Shots in 2014.
