Allan Tannenbaum
Allan Tannenbaum started his photography career in the 1960's when he worked as a photographer for his college's newspaper.
In 1973, Tannenbaum became the Photo Editor and Chief Photographer for SoHo Weekly News, a new publication that soon gained tremendous popularity. While working there, he covered the art world, music scene, politics, show business and nightlife.
Before the SoHo News folded in 1982, Tannenbaum had the opportunity to photograph legendary musicians like, The Rolling Stones, John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
Multiple books have been published of Tannenbaum's collection of photographs from New York City. His works have been displayed in galleries, museums and festivals worldwide.
